  • Grew up in Medford Oregon. Coached by Frank Innes.
  • Wins the USTA Super National Spring Championships Easter Bowl – Boy’s 18 singles in 1987. The following year wins the USTA Super National Hard Court Championships – Boy’s 18 doubles
  • Wins the Oregon State High School Boy’s singles championships in 1986 and 1988.
  • NCAA All American while at Stanford University in 1989 and 1990. Helped Stanford win the NCAA men’s team championship in 1989.
  • In 1994, wins the French Open Doubles championship, ranked #1 in the world in doubles, ranked #36 in singles, played on the U.S. Davis Cup team which he participated on 3 additional times.
  • Wins the Wimbledon Mixed Doubles championships with Martina Navratilova in 1995.
  • Wins the World Doubles Championships in 1997.
  • Currently Jonathan is the Director of Junior Tennis at the Seattle Tennis Club.
